Good for a short stay but not without flaws

Seriously the location was perfect right near the main train station and the staff were friendly enough like they actually cared. One night I returned late and they were still nice about it like no judgment just helping me out. They had a good lobby too with vending machines so I could grab a drink.

The staff were incredibly friendly and

went out of their way to assist us during our stay. The hotel is conveniently located, just a short walk from many attractions. However, the room cleanliness could have been better, particularly the bathroom.

Noise from adjacent street kept me awake at night!!! The lack of proper air conditioning made the room feel humid!!! Serious improvement needed in room ventilation to eliminate musty odors!!!

Didn't like anything, except friendly receptionist.

Perfect for a short city trip! Located just a few minutes from the Kölner Dom and Hauptbahnhof, this hotel offers a modern twist on the hostel vibe. Friendly staff, spacious rooms, and great value make it an excellent choice. Proximity to attractions is a major plus as well!

The location of A & O in Cologne is fantastic. It’s just a short walk to the Kölner Dom and Hauptbahnhof. Very convenient for exploring the city. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. I appreciated the quick check-in and check-out process. The room itself was spacious, which was a nice surprise. However, the cleanliness left much to be desired. The bathroom had some dust, and there were hairs on the linens. I also noticed an odd smell in the hallway, which was quite unpleasant. We had booked a double room expecting one large bed, but were given two small beds pushed together, which wasn’t ideal for comfort. Plus, the walls weren’t well-insulated, making it chilly at night despite having the heater on. I really enjoyed the self-service breakfast. it had a variety of options and was delicious. If they improve on cleaning and address the bedding arrangement, I'd definitely consider staying here again on another short trip.

Convenient Location and Cozy Stay!

I enjoyed my stay in a single room for one night. The central location made it easy to explore Cologne’s attractions. However, the staff needs better training. a housekeeper barged in too early, which felt intrusive. For meal options, check out nearby restaurants—they offer great local dishes!

The double room was really spacious and had a modern vibe. It felt friendly and welcoming, not too fancy but comfortable for a quick stay. The location was perfect for exploring, and being a bit away from the noise of the station was a plus. The bed was alright, not the softest, but did the job. Just a basic room, but great for short trips. Nothing too bad to say really.
